I have paid (or attempted to upgrade and as far as I know the payment went thru) for upgrade but I only a few times have seen the upgraded areas and I have received 3 or 4 offers to upgrade to get further info. Can you share where I can get this cleared up and figured out? Thanks.

Hello, Julie! Thanks for reaching out. I checked on our end and it appears that your subscription has not been upgraded yet, which is why you're still seeing upgrade prompts and may not have consistent access to subscriber-only content.

To upgrade, please visit the publication homepage, click the Subscribe button, and select the paid subscription option. If you previously attempted payment, it's possible the transaction did not complete successfully.

If you have questions about billing, payment processing, or your account status, please contact Substack Support directly, as they manage all subscription payments and account access:

Support Center: https://support.substack.com

Submit a request: https://support.substack.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

They'll be able to verify whether a payment was processed and help resolve any account-related issues.

You can contact me at support@connectiondocs.com, if needed. Thank you and I hope this works out smoothly :)

Thanks. I went to substack to update my newest email, as it implied that was the problem. Yet today when I go to substack, it’s still thinking I am not me. However through email your substack acknowledges me as a subscriber. So it seems I am getting closer. Thank you.

Profound! It resonated with me deeply. I have gone through this with at least 2 family relationships in my life and it’s very painful. I did let go of one a long time ago because my aunt was not emotionally available, only to get her back in the past year. The other relationship is still ongoing and I go back and forth with it. I realized over time that the other person just doesn’t have the wherewithal to give to the relationship at times due to her own internal life and circumstances, despite her love for me. It still hurts but I try to remember that when it does. I appreciate your sharing this very personal reflection, Dr Matt. It was so helpful!

Thank you, Vi! I’m glad it connected with something in you. And thank you for sharing your own experiences. It’s not easy, but helps to know others are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings.
